Anmol Rathi

Anmol Rathi has spent his career asking the same question: How do we expand opportunity for people the system overlooks?

While in high school in India, that question led him to co-found Cancer-Ex, a biotech start-up developing the world’s first patented non-invasive saliva test for early pancreatic cancer detection. The innovation earned India’s Highest Civilian Award for Students—the Bal Shakti Puraskar—as well as Forbes Teenpreneur recognition, and awards from the Google Science Fair and Regeneron ISEF.

As a Visiting Fellow and Research Assistant at FREOPP, Anmol applies that same inventive approach to public policy. He supports senior scholars researching higher education, social-welfare programs, and global trade, bringing data-driven rigor to questions of social mobility. He has helped expand the reach of the World Index of Healthcare Innovation and works to make complex policy accessible to broader audiences.

Before joining FREOPP, Anmol co-founded the 501(c)(3), Off the Battlefield Foundation, where as head of operations he built a companionship program pairing American students with Ukrainian veterans, reducing reported isolation by 40 percent. He has also consulted on development projects in South Africa and Australia, allocating over €500,000 in funding.

The first in his family to study abroad, Anmol earned merit scholarships to Texas Christian University and studied in Sydney and Cape Town. He mentors student entrepreneurs.
